August 21, 2018:
Bell Ringer: Begin to copy and define Key Terms and Names for Chapter 1 Sections 1-3.
Students will receive copy of Chapter 1 notes from the Teacher and the Teacher will go over the appropriate Section.
Assignment: Analyzing Key concepts page 6, complete Connect to Today questions 1 and 2.
August 22, 2018:
Bell Ringer: Same as yesterday, first 5 minutes of class.
Teacher will go over the appropriate section of notes for Chapter 1.
Assignment: Critical Thinking Questions Chapter 1 Section 2:
In what ways was he invention of tools a technological revolution?
What advantages did domestication of animals offer Neolithic people?
What evidence suggests that Catal Huyuk was a prosperous village?
August 23, 2018:
Bell Ringer: Same as yesterday first 5 minutes of class.
Teacher will go over the appropriate section of Chapter 1.
Assignment: Analyzing Key Concepts page 21, answer questions 1 and 2.
August 24, 2018:
Bell Ringer: Students will answer the question: Where did early humans originate and waht were their technological and artistic achievements? Students will write and answer this on an index card and turn in at the end of class as they exit.
Assignment: Students will complete Chapter 1 Self Assessment questions 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 and C.T. questions 1, 3, and 5
