Monday August 22, 2016:
Students welcomed to class, expectations of the class explained to students and students instructed to get High School Management Plan copied and signed by parent/guardian and student for a grade of 100.
Tuesday, August 23, 2016:
Students instructed to copy Unit 1 Vocabulary and define in their spiral notebook. Vocabulary and definitions on the board for students to copy.
Wednesday August 24-26, 2016:
Students will define the Chapter 1 Vocabulary, look up the following hominids: Australopithecines, Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Neanderthal, and Cro-Magnon.
Students will also create a Cause and Effect Map over the Neolithic Revolution.
Students will also create a Bubble Map over the characteristics of a Civilization and list/described the different River Valley Civilizations found in Mesopotamia and Indus River Valley.
Students will also complete and turn into the teacher by Friday Worksheet over Chapter 1.
